B. Tech. Environmental Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course. Environmental Engineering is the main branch of engineering that is concerned with the human population’s protection, environment protection & improve environmental quality. The course is structured in a way that teaches about the applied science of engineering principles in accordance with environmental studies, that initiates healthy water, better land reformations for humans and other organisms.
In B.Tech in Environmental Science and Engineering course, you will learn different types of principles of environmental science, water treatment, control on air pollution, solid, liquid, and industrial waste management. B.Tech in environmental engineering also has an interesting part that is the navigation of the satellite system.
Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility for admission to the program is a pass in 10+2 with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects. And, if you talk about the percentage of marks, students should secure at least 50% in their aggregate percentage.
Those who want to pursue the undergraduate program in Environmental Engineering are required to sit for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and other state-level entrance tests. The admissions are done on the basis of national level entrance examination or those entrance examinations which are conducted by different universities and students need to clear them to start their career in environmental science engineering.
